KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />STUDY SESSION STAFF REPORT <br />STUDY SESSION DATE: April 22, 2019 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve a Resolution to Award the <br />Bid for Herbicide Application for the Years <br />2019-2022 and Authorize the Public Works <br />Director to Execute Same <br />BACKGROUND: Kittitas County Public Works went out to bid for <br />the Application of Herbicide on approximately <br />eight hundred (800) shoulder miles of roadway <br />in accordance with specifications. <br />INTERACTION: <br />Bids were opened on April 4, 2019, at 2:00 <br />p.m. Two (2) bids were received. <br />Public Works is recommending awarding the <br />responsive bid to Woodland Resource <br />Services, Inc. at twenty nine dollars ($29) per <br />mile applied. Public Works will be supplying <br />the herbicide for application. <br />Public Works <br />RECOMMENDATION: Move to approve the Resolution to Award the <br />bid for Herbicide Application for the Years 2019 <br />— 2022 and Authorize the Public Works <br />Director to Execute Same. <br />HANDLING: Return one (1) original to Public Works <br />ATTACHMENTS: Resolution; Bid Tab <br />LEAD STAFF: Candie Leader <br />Administrative Assistant <br />
