KITTITAS COUNTY <br />CDS STUDY SESSION MINUTES <br />COMMISSIONERS' AUDITORIUM, 205 WEST 5TH ROOM 109 - ELLENSBURG <br />Regular Meeting <br />MONDAY 1:30 PM May 13, 2019 <br />Meeting was called to order at 1:30 pm <br />COMPREHENSIVE PLAN UPDATE <br />Director Carlson provided an update to the Board of County <br />Commissioner regarding the 2037 Comprehensive Plan. The plan <br />was due June 30, 2018 however, Kittitas County qualified for a <br />one year extension. Director Carlson briefed the board with some <br />of the changes of the comprehensive plan. Some of which include; <br />- Vision statement <br />- Current population & employment <br />- Transportation <br />- GPOs (Goals, Principals, and Objective) <br />REQUEST TO SET PUBLIC HEARING FOR 2017-2037 COMPREHENSIVE PLAN <br />PERIODIC UPDATE <br />Director Carlson requested to set a public hearing June 3rd at <br />6:00pm in the BOCC Auditorium for consideration of draft 2017- <br />2037 Comprehensive Plan Periodic Update as required by RCW <br />36.370A. Commissioner Wachsmith motioned to set public hearing <br />for consideration of draft 2017-2037 Comprehensive Plan Periodic <br />Update. Commissioner Osiadacz seconded the motion and the motion <br />passed 3-0. <br />OTHER BUSINESS <br />Meeting adjourn at 1:37 p.m. <br />2019-05-13 MINUTES 1 <br />
