BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2019 - ()q—( <br />RESCINDING ORDINANCE NO. 2019-009 AND VACATING HARTMAN ROAD <br />PURSUANT TO PUBLIC HEARING AND BOARD DECISION ON JUNE 4,.2019 <br />WHEREAS: Public Works prepared Ordinance No. 2019-009 for Board of County Commission <br />action following a duly conducted public hearing vacating Hartman Road on June 04, <br />2019; and <br />WHEREAS: Public Works removed county roads from Title 12 in the 2015 revision to the Road <br />Standards; and <br />WHEREAS: The Board of County Commissioners are now able to vacate county roads pursuant to <br />resolution with county roads being removed from Title 12 in the 2015 Road <br />Standards revision; and <br />WHEREAS: It is now necessary to vacate Hartman Road pursuant to resolution and rescinding the <br />Board's vacation action from Ordinance 2019-009; and <br />WHEREAS: The Board of County Commissioners does adopt the Director's/Engineer's Report <br />presented during the public hearing conducted on June 4, 2019; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the best <br />interest of the public, does hereby authorize the Board's signature on this resolution vacating <br />Hartman Road and directs the Department of Public Works to remove Hartman Road from the <br />County Road Log; <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners does find in the best <br />interest of the public that no financial compensation is necessary for the vacation and that a 15 foot <br />utility easement shall be retained by the County prior to vacation of Hartman Road. <br />DATED this 10th day of June, 2019, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />()M <br />MIS <br />`S <br />St. <br />,& C`z rV,;gf&t B'-'oard- Julie Kjorsvik <br />❑ Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />C&5rWrighf,-C iairman <br />t <br />BrettWachs , Vice -Chairman <br />Laur, Commissioner <br />
