_arpD9S...7b TyfN <br />ffiTTITAS COUNTY <br />TASK 3.30 — Office Work <br />xXWWXWJLM CO <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />TASK 3.31 —Engineering Analysis and Consultations <br />Hart Crowser will conduct engineering analyses to evaluate seismic hazards, ground <br />settlement, abutment stability, foundation and retaining wall alternatives and design <br />parameters, and earthwork guidelines. Engineering analysis will be completed in general <br />conformance with appropriate Washington State Department of Transportation <br />(WSDOT) design manuals. <br />Hart Crowser will consult with the design team regarding their findings and foundation <br />alternatives. <br />TASK 3.32 — Geotechnical Reporting <br />Hart Crowser will prepare a geotechnical report to document their findings and <br />recommendations. The geotechnical report will address design and construction issues, <br />including: <br />• Site and boring location plan(s); <br />• Description of subsurface soil, rock, and groundwater conditions; <br />• Site preparation and earthwork recommendations; <br />• Seismic hazards and WSDOT-based seismic design parameters; <br />• Temporary and permanent abutment foundation alternatives, design <br />recommendations, and stability; <br />• Retaining wall alternatives and design parameters; and <br />• Construction considerations. <br />A draft report will be provided to the design team for review and comments. A final <br />report will be prepared that addresses review comments from the design team. <br />TASK 3.33 — Project Management and Meetings <br />Hart Crowser will provide geotechnical project management and support services, <br />including coordinating staff and subcontractors and conducting telephone consultations <br />and email communications with the design team. Hart Crowser will attend up to one <br />meeting at KPFF's office. <br />TASK 3.40 — Construction Support <br />The geotechnical engineer will provide support during construction to respond to RFI's or <br />changes in field conditions. <br />
