6/10/2019 MINUTES 2 <br />RATIFY SMART CHOICES NOMINATION COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Commissioner Wachsmith moved to approve and ratify Commissioner <br />Osiadacz’s signature on a letter to Darby Cowles and Jonathan Kesler <br />(APA/PAW 2019 Awards) regarding Smart Choices Nomination – Yakima <br />River Public Access Plan. Chairman Wright seconded. Motion carried <br />3-0. <br /> <br />APPOINTMENT AMY FULLER – HAHC COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Commissioner Wachsmith moved to approve Amy Fuller (KCPHD) as the <br />County appointed representative on the Homelessness & Affordable <br />Housing Committee, and direct Staff to prepare a letter notifying <br />Ms. Fuller. Commissioner Osiadacz seconded. Motion carried 3-0. <br /> <br />AGREEMENT KITTITAS CO./AMERICAN RIVERS COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Commissioner Wachsmith moved to approve and authorize Board <br />signature on an annual Professional Services Agreement between <br />Kittitas County and American Rivers in an amount not to exceed <br />$10,000.00 from June of 2019 to June of 2020. Commissioner Osiadacz <br />seconded. Motion carried 3-0. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION FACEBOOK WEEKLY POSTS COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board determined for the week of June 7, 2019 they would post <br />the following on their Facebook: An announcement about the Spring <br />into Motion participants with steps done in the month of May; The <br />Thin Blue Line Flag that’s making its way across the United States <br />being carried by State Patrol to be presented to Officer Benito <br />Chavez; and possibly an announcement about the Fair Ride P.O.P. <br />Bracelets being on sale. <br /> <br />OTHER BUSINESS/GENERAL UPDATES <br /> <br />Each Commissioner may use this time to brief the Board on varying <br />topics and discussions they independently had throughout the <br />previous week. <br /> <br />Meeting adjourned at 10:00 a.m. <br /> <br />KITTITAS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />DEPUTY CLERK OF THE BOARD KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Mandy Buchholz Cory Wright, Chairman
