SEPTEMBER 17, 2019 <br />Board members present: Chairman Cory Wright; Vice-Chairman Brett <br />Wachsmith and Commissioner Laura Osiadacz. <br /> <br />Others: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; Lindsey Ozbolt, Planning <br />Official; Judy Pless, Budget & Finance Manager; Dan Carlson, CDS <br />Director; Mark Cook, Public Works Director/Interim Engineer; Chelsea <br />Benner, Staff Planner; Dora Van Epps, Fiscal Analyst; Sue Patterson, <br />Fiscal Technician I; Kay Kresge, Fiscal Analyst; Pat Nicholson, Fire <br />Marshal; Lisa Bugni, Fiscal Technician II; Heidi Childs, Fiscal Analyst; <br />and 1 member of the public. <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairman Wright called the meeting to order. <br /> PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br /> <br />Chairman Wright led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> INTRODUCTION OF NEW COUNTY EMPLOYEES – NONE PROCLAMATIONS PROCLAMATION FIRE PREVENTION AWARENESS WEEK FIRE MARSHAL <br />Commissioner Wachsmith moved to approve a Proclamation Declaring October <br />6 – 12, 2019 as Fire Prevention Awareness Week in Kittitas County. <br /> AWARDS & RECOGNITIONS AWARD JUDY PLESS/PROFESSIONAL FINANCE OFFICER AWARD COMMISSIONERS <br />Judy Pless, Budget & Finance Manager was acknowledged for earning the <br />“Professional Finance Officer Award” for the State of Washington from <br />the Washington Finance Officers Association. The Board of County <br />Commissioners extended their appreciation to Ms. Pless for her hard work <br />and dedication to the citizens of Kittitas County. <br />
