KIT 31WALI3 CO <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />Kr=A8 COUNTY <br />Formal Task Order Document <br />KPFF <br />Task Order Number 016 <br />Maximum Amount Payable $248,000 Completion Date 12/30/2019 <br />The general provisions and clauses of Local Agency Agreement Number (KCPW 2017- <br />19ENG2) shall be in full force and effect for this Task Order. <br />Location of Project: Kittitas County <br />Project Title: Big Boulder Creek Bridge Replacement <br />Description of Work: KPFF will prepare the PS&E documents for the replacement of the Big <br />Boulder Creek Bridge in coordination with Kittitas County staff. The design team includes: <br />KPFF — Project Management, Structural and Civil Engineering <br />Hart Crowser — Geotechnical Engineering <br />Watershed Science and Engineering — Hydraulic Engineering <br />Jacobs — Environmental/Permitting <br />Tentative Project Advertisement is April 2020, but will be dependent on permitting, fish <br />windows, and bridge procurement schedules. <br />The existing timber bridge is located on Cle Elum Valley Road over Big Boulder Creek <br />approximately three miles north of the Salmon La Sac Campground. The bridge is currently <br />posted for a 5 Ton weight limit due to scour at the timber sill foundation. The County prefers to <br />replace the bridge with a single lane prefabricated superstructure. <br />TASK 1 PROJECT MANAGEMENT <br />KPFF will manage the development of the PLANS, SPECS & ENGINEERING COST <br />ESTIMATE (PS&E) in such a manner to ensure the County is able to achieve the desirable <br />bidding date.
