11/04/2019 MINUTES 1 <br /> COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM REGULAR MEETING <br /> MONDAY 9:50 A.M. NOVEMBER 4, 2019 <br />Board members present: Chairman, Cory Wright; Vice-Chairman Brett <br />Wachsmith; Laura Osiadacz, Commissioner. <br /> <br />Others: Taylor Crouch, Deputy Clerk of the Board I; Lisa Young, HR <br />Director; Mark Cook, Public Works Director/Interim Engineer; Judy <br />Pless, Budget & Finance Manager; and 1 member of the public. <br /> REGULAR MEETING DEPARTMENT HEAD HUMAN RECOURCES <br />Lisa Young, HR Director began explaining staffing changes in Public <br />Works. The Board asked to table this item for another meeting with <br />more time for discussion. <br /> <br />Lisa Young, HR Director explained the Leave Policy to the Board. The <br />Board agreed to stay with the 2004 contract regarding leave. <br /> EXECUTIVE SESSION COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />At 10:10 a.m. Cory Wright announced the Board would recess into <br />Executive Session with Lisa Young, HR Director for 10 minutes for <br />pending litigation—RCW 42.30.110(i) To discuss with legal counsel <br />representing the agency matters relating to agency enforcement <br />actions, or to discuss with legal counsel representing the agency <br />litigation or potential litigation to which the agency, the <br />governing body, or a member acting in an official capacity is, or is <br />likely to become, a party, when public knowledge regarding the <br />discussion is likely to result in an adverse legal or financial <br />consequence to the agency. No action anticipated. <br /> <br />At 10:20 the Board recessed out of Executive Session. No action was <br />taken. <br />At 10:20 a.m. Cory Wright announced the Board would recess back into <br />Executive Session for 3 minutes for pending litigation—RCW <br />42.30.110(i) To discuss with legal counsel representing the agency <br />matters relating to agency enforcement actions, or to discuss with <br />legal counsel representing the agency litigation or potential <br />litigation to which the agency, the governing body, or a member <br />acting in an official capacity is, or is likely to become, a party, <br />when public knowledge regarding the discussion is likely to result <br />in an adverse legal or financial consequence to the agency. No <br />action anticipated.
