NOVEMBER 19, 2019 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Cory Wright; Vice-Chairman Brett <br />Wachsmith; and Commissioner Laura Osiadacz. <br /> <br />Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II; Mark Cook, Public <br />Works Director/Interim Engineer; Neil Caulkins, Deputy Prosecutor; Arden <br />Thomas, WRP Manager; Karen Hodges, Planner III; Justin Turnbull, County <br />Surveyor; Jim Goeben, IT Director; Erin Moore, WRP Coordinator; Katrina <br />Mankus, Juvenile Court Administrator; Val Barschaw, Clerk; Lisa Young, <br />HR Director; Heather Seibert, Finance Officer; Amy Cziske, Treasurer and <br />5 members of the public. <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairman Wright called the meeting to order. <br /> <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br /> <br />Chairman Wright led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> <br />INTRODUCTION OF NEW COUNTY EMPLOYEES – NONE <br /> <br />PROCLAMATIONS - NONE <br /> <br />AWARDS & RECOGNITIONS <br /> <br />Jonathan Kessler, Planning Association of Washington presented the Board <br />with a Plaque from the American Planning Association, Washington Chapter <br />and the Planning Association of Washington. He stated it was to Kittitas <br />County and in association with Beckwith Consulting Group, for the Yakima <br />River Public Access Plan, in the category of Comprehensive <br />Plan/Development Regulations – Small County. The Board thanked Mr. <br />Kessler for coming to present the award. <br /> <br />Mark Cook, Public Works Director/Interim County Engineer thanked the <br />Board for recognizing the efforts of his Staff Arden Thomas, WRP <br />Manager; Karen Hodges, Planner III; and Justin Turnbull, County <br />Surveyor; for their efforts with the 2019 Community Rating System (CRS). <br />
