Board of Health Minutes <br />December 19, 2019 <br />2 of 3 <br />BOHAC Update <br />Robin Read stepped to the microphone and noted she had no report for the board as there was no BOAHC <br />meeting last month. Ms. Read stated she was taking notes of todays meeting to report to BOHAC in <br />January. <br />Department updates <br />Administrator update <br />Tristen Lamb stepped to the microphone to give the administrator update. Ms. Lamb updated the board <br />on the following items: <br />o Harm Reduction Specialist Position filled <br />o Registered Sanitarians on staff <br />o Communicable Disease manual <br />o Executive Committee <br />o Internship updates <br />o Management team is reading Trying Hard isn't Good Enough <br />o Molina Grant Partnership: program evaluation <br />o Forms and Social Media policies <br />o DFA Grant 2020 <br />o CWS <br />There were questions from the board about current hepatitis A outbreak in people experiencing <br />homelessness in surrounding counties, as well as the new harm reduction specialist position. <br />Financial Updare <br />Tina Rowan stepped to the microphone and reviewed the financial update for the department for 2019 <br />through November. <br />Business <br />2020 Budget Update <br />Tristen Lamb reviewed the following items as part of the 2020 Budget Update: <br />• Brief review of the adopted 2020 budget <br />• Revenue <br />• Expenditures <br />• Actuals vs Budget <br />Strategic Plan Update <br />Tristen Lamb gave a brief update on the strategic plan, including where they are in the process as well as <br />their plan going forward for 2020. <br />Other: <br />No Additional Business <br />Meeting adjourned at 11:07 am <br />
