Motion carried 3-0. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION FACEBOOK WEEKLY POSTS COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board determined for the week of February 24, 2020 that they <br />would share on their Facebook the County’s Coloring Contest for <br />National County Government Week; and Press Release’s regarding the <br />Lodging Tax Advisory Committee Grants and Homelessness & Affordable <br />Housing Committee Grants. <br /> <br />OTHER BUSINESS/GENERAL UPDATES <br /> <br />Each Commissioner may use this time to brief the Board on varying <br />topics and discussions they independently had throughout the <br />previous week. <br /> <br />Jerry Pettit, County Auditor announced that the County Auditor’s <br />Association is inviting County Auditor’s to sign on as a support for <br />the Fair Share Funding Bill and he wanted to first run it by the <br />BoCC. <br /> <br />Commissioner Osiadacz left at 9:30 a.m. for another scheduled <br />meeting. <br /> <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />At 9:31 a.m. Chairman Wachsmith announced the Board would recess <br />into Executive Session for 10 minutes to evaluate the qualifications <br />of an applicant for public employment or to review the performance <br />of a public employee. However, subject to RCW 42.30.140 (4), <br />discussion by a governing body of salaries, wages, and other <br />conditions of employment to be generally applied within the agency <br />shall occur in a meeting open to the public, and when a governing <br />body elects to take final action hiring, setting the salary of an <br />individual employee or class of employees, or discharging or <br />disciplining an employee, that action shall be taken in a meeting <br />open to the public. No action was anticipated. <br /> <br />At 9:41 a.m. the Board reconvened out of Executive Session.
