02/18/2020 MINUTES 4 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Approve a Notice of Funds Availability (NOFA) for Capital Project for <br />Homeless Units, in the amount of $400,000.00 from the Kittitas County <br />Homelessness and Affordable Housing Committee, to accept Grant <br />Applications to Address Local Homelessness and Affordable Housing <br />Priorities, to be accepted until March 5, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. and to <br />authorize the Clerk to publish said notice. <br /> NOTICE RAPID REHOUSING VOUCHERS COMMISSIONERS <br />Approve a Notice of Funds Availability (NOFA) for Rapid Rehousing <br />Vouchers, in the amount of $130,000.00 annually, from the Kittitas <br />County Homelessness and Affordable Housing Committee, to accept Grant <br />Applications to Address Local Homelessness and Affordable Housing <br />Priorities, to be accepted until March 5, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. and to <br />authorize the Clerk to publish said notice. <br /> AGREEMENT KITTITAS COUNTY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE COMMISSIONERS <br />Approve a Professional Services Agreement between Kittitas County and <br />the Kittitas County Chamber of Commerce in the amount of $283,150.00 for <br />Tourism Services from January 1, 2020 through December 31, 2020. <br /> REQUEST TO APPROVE A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE RESCISION OF RESOLUTION NO. 2019-179 AND ENACTING A NEW RESOLUTION PERTAINING TO FUNDING THE COMPLETE COUNT COMMITTEE FOR THE 2020 CENSUS AND TO AUTHORIZE THE INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT OFM CONTRACT K3012 – ITEM WAS REMOVED FROM THE AGENDA REQUEST TO APPROVE A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH HOPESOURCE FOR THE COMPLETE COUNT COMMITTEE IN THE AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $34,700.00 – ITEM WAS REMOVED FROM THE AGENDA MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT EVERGREEN FOREST COUNTY GROUP COMMISSIONERS <br />Approve a Memorandum of Agreement on Behalf of Kittitas County, A Member <br />of the Evergreen Forest County Group, A Rural Public Lands County <br />Council Affiliate, for Robert K. Weidner, with Offices in the Washington <br />D.C. area, in the amount of $10,000.00 to report and receive guidance <br />from Evergreen Group Members & Commissioners of participating counties. <br /> SET PUBLIC HEARING INCREASE IN SALES & USE TAX COMMISSIONERS <br />Commissioner Wright moved to table a Request to Set a Public Hearing to <br />consider a 1/10th of 1% Increase in Sales & Use Tax, as authorized by RCW <br />82.14.460 for Chemical Dependency or Mental Health Treatment Services or <br />Therapeutic Courts. Commissioner Osiadacz seconded. Motion carried 2-1 <br />(Chairman Wachsmith opposed the motion).
