03/03/2020 MINUTES 1 COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON COMMISSIONERS AUDITORIUM SPECIAL MEETING TUESDAY 2:00 P.M. MARCH 3, 2020 Board members present: Chairman Brett Wachsmith; Vice-Chairman Laura Osiadacz; and Commissioner Cory Wright. Others: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; Mark Cook, Public Works Director/Interim Engineer; Dan Carlson, CDS Director; Lindsey Ozbolt, Planning Official; and Mike Flory, Building Official. PUBLIC HEARING CDS FEE SCHEDULE CDS At 2:00 p.m. Chairman Wachsmith opened a Public Hearing to consider the 2020 Community Development Services Fee Schedule. DAN CARLSON, CDS DIRECTOR reviewed a Staff Report on the proposed 2020 Community Development Services Fee Schedule. He reviewed the multiplier model. He said the Fire Marshal fees had not been updated since 2012, but their office staff recently discovered an Ordinance that was approved in 2016, when the Fire Marshal was their own office, so he recommended not taking any action on the Fire Marshal fees right now. THERE BEING NO PUBLIC IN ATTENDANCE TO TESTIFY, THE PUBLIC PORTION OF THE HEARING WAS CLOSED. COMMISSIONER OSIADACZ moved to approve the proposed Fee Schedule as recommended by the Community Development Services Department, with the omission of the Fire Marshal fees. COMMISSIONER WRIGHT seconded. Motion carried 3-0. PUBLIC HEARING ANNUAL CONSTRUCTION & 6 YR TIP PUBLIC WORKS At 2:13 p.m. Chairman Wachsmith opened a Public Hearing to consider Amending the 2020 Annual Construction Program and the Six-Year Transportation Improvement Program. MARK COOK, PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR/INTERIM ENGINEER reviewed a Staff Report on Amending the 2020 Public Works Annual Construction Program and the 2020 Public Works Six Year Construction Program. THERE BEING NO PUBLIC IN ATTENDANCE TO TESTIFY, THE PUBLIC PORTION OF THE HEARING WAS CLOSED.
