4/13/2020 MINUTES 2 At 9:14 a.m. Commissioner Wright joined the meeting after the discussion of Sermo Digital was complete. CONTRACT AMENDMENT – CDBG PUBLIC SERVICES GRANT AUDITOR Chairman Wachsmith moved to approve and authorize the Chairman’s signature on Amendment Number A to Contract Number 19-62210-008, between Kittitas County and the Washington State Department of Commerce, Local Government Division, Community Development Block Grant Program, Public Services Grant, in the additional amount of $100,280.00 for a new Contract total of $183,847.00, for work to include urgent, CDBG eligible COVIT-19 response service activities, and to extend the Contract date from June 30, 2020 to February 28, 2021. Commissioner Osiadacz seconded. Motion carried 3-0. AGREEMENT HOPESOURCE – CDBG PUBLIC SERVICES GRANT AUDITOR Chairman Wachsmith moved to approve Amendment No. 1 to the Subrecipient Agreement between Kittitas County and HopeSource, for an additional $176,847.00, to include urgent, CDBG eligible COVID-19 response service activities, extending the date from June 30, 2020 to February 28, 2021. Commissioner Osiadacz seconded. Motion carried 3-0. UPDATES COVID-19 COMMISSIONERS There were brief updates provided by the Board of County Commissioners relating to COVID-19. DISCUSSION FACEBOOK WEEKLY POSTS COMMISSIONERS The Board determined for the week of April 13, 2020 that they would share on their Facebook page a possible Proclamation that maybe considered later on in the week, as well as a couple of letters to the Department of Natural Resources and the Department of Fish and Wildlife regarding public access, as well as anything needed relating to COVID-19. OTHER BUSINESS/GENERAL UPDATES Each Commissioner may use this time to brief the Board on varying topics and discussions they independently had throughout the previous week. The Board agreed to put any airport related issues onto the Public Works Study Session Agendas, if necessary.
