4/13/2020 MINUTES 2 <br /> <br />At 9:14 a.m. Commissioner Wright joined the meeting after the <br />discussion of Sermo Digital was complete. <br /> CONTRACT AMENDMENT – CDBG PUBLIC SERVICES GRANT AUDITOR <br /> <br />Chairman Wachsmith moved to approve and authorize the Chairman’s <br />signature on Amendment Number A to Contract Number 19-62210-008, <br />between Kittitas County and the Washington State Department of <br />Commerce, Local Government Division, Community Development Block <br />Grant Program, Public Services Grant, in the additional amount of <br />$100,280.00 for a new Contract total of $183,847.00, for work to <br />include urgent, CDBG eligible COVIT-19 response service activities, <br />and to extend the Contract date from June 30, 2020 to February 28, <br />2021. Commissioner Osiadacz seconded. Motion carried 3-0. <br /> AGREEMENT HOPESOURCE – CDBG PUBLIC SERVICES GRANT AUDITOR <br />Chairman Wachsmith moved to approve Amendment No. 1 to the <br />Subrecipient Agreement between Kittitas County and HopeSource, for <br />an additional $176,847.00, to include urgent, CDBG eligible COVID-19 <br />response service activities, extending the date from June 30, 2020 <br />to February 28, 2021. Commissioner Osiadacz seconded. Motion carried <br />3-0. <br /> UPDATES COVID-19 COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />There were brief updates provided by the Board of County <br />Commissioners relating to COVID-19. <br /> DISCUSSION FACEBOOK WEEKLY POSTS COMMISSIONERS <br />The Board determined for the week of April 13, 2020 that they would <br />share on their Facebook page a possible Proclamation that maybe <br />considered later on in the week, as well as a couple of letters to <br />the Department of Natural Resources and the Department of Fish and <br />Wildlife regarding public access, as well as anything needed <br />relating to COVID-19. <br /> OTHER BUSINESS/GENERAL UPDATES <br />Each Commissioner may use this time to brief the Board on varying <br />topics and discussions they independently had throughout the <br />previous week. The Board agreed to put any airport related issues <br />onto the Public Works Study Session Agendas, if necessary. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
