4/06/2020 MINUTES 2 <br /> RESOLUTION 2020-068 ESSENTIAL EMPLOYEES PUBLIC WORKS <br />Chairman Wachsmith moved to approve Resolution No. 2020-068, <br />Declaring Kittitas County Department of Public Works Employees as <br />Essential (Excepting the Water Resource Program Manager) and <br />Adopting the COVID-19 Field Procedures and Agreement for Kittitas <br />County Public Works Road Crew and Field Staff. Commissioner <br />Osiadacz seconded. Motion carried 3-0. <br /> UPDATES COVID-19 COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Commissioner Wright explained he had requested the Prosecutors <br />opinion and for clarification on what’s essential according to the <br />Governor’s Order. The Board directed Staff to schedule a meeting <br />with the Prosecutors office and CDS to discuss. <br /> MEETINGS FUTURE MEETINGS COMMISSIONERS <br />The Board agreed to still have the Public Works Department’s Study <br />Session as long as the items for their Agenda are routine and <br />necessary. <br /> DISCUSSION FACEBOOK WEEKLY POSTS COMMISSIONERS <br />The Board determined for the week of April 6, 2020 that they would <br />share on their Facebook the Proclamation on the April 7, 2020 <br />Agenda; a review of how the Commissioners meeting will be held <br />during the COVID-19 situation; ways for people to still recreate <br />with public land closures; and that CDS is open. <br /> OTHER BUSINESS/GENERAL UPDATES <br />Each Commissioner may use this time to brief the Board on varying <br />topics and discussions they independently had throughout the <br />previous week. <br /> <br />Meeting adjourned at 9:35 a.m. <br /> KITTITAS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS CLERK OF THE BOARD KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br /> Julie Kjorsvik Brett Wachsmith, Chairman
