Collaboration *Distribution points through the dowrto\ n core will be maintained with current <br />information about the local area and events that are occurring. ln addition, CEDA <br />has the abiliiy to e4rand distribution ihrough county-wide information wtrich include <br />the Msiior's Guide, the Kitiitas county Maps, Tribune Visitor Guide, etc. currenfly <br />there are three locations in the dovrnrtor,rn core wtrich have high traffic volume u/rich <br />vrc can expand to: Pioneer Coffee, Cottage Cafe, Mike's Tavern, Cle Elum Bakery <br />and many others. <br />Through our partnership with ihe Kitittas county chamber, CEDA is able to utilize <br />the Chamber's -channels to promote the efforts of CEDA on their vrebsite, <br />calendar, ueekly emails to members, Facebook sites and distribution centers <br />(Msitor Centers) in Cle Elum and Ellensburg. <br />The Executive Director and Board Members attend and participate in many facits of <br />the community. Examples of wtrich include: city council Meetings, city of cle Elum <br />Parks and Recreation Planning Committee, Cle EIum Kiwanis, Lions and Rotary <br />clubs and Upper Kittitas county Historical society. ln addition, CEDA mainiains a <br />very active communication with organization such as; Suncadia Community <br />services, suncadia Home owners Association, washington state Horse park, cle <br />Elum Roundup - PRCA Rodeo. <br />CEDA board members are actively engaged in the cle Elum and Kittitas county <br />communities. Meeting with community leaders and clubs to promote the city of cle <br />Elum and the county. Working together to better the health of their tou,n and <br />activities, wtrich the downtown provides. <br />2500 character linit <br />5l Future Plans <br />Please explain what plans exist to allow this project to become self-sustaining. lnclude any plans for ticket <br />sales, event sponsors, and other cost-recovery models. <br />Future Plans*Each year, CEDA Board of Directors and Committees develop wcrk plans which <br />specifically address creating a more sustainable environment, one thai builds <br />capacity for the organization and marketing efforts for the doraintounr. AS GEDA <br />shows more and more success with its dorirntovu'r revitalization efforts, a stronger <br />environment for increased partnerships and opportunities for giving and sponsor <br />events is evolving.
