REQUEST TO APPROVE A RESOLUTION FOR THE 2020 DISTRESSED COUNTY SALES AND USE TAX INFRASTRUCTURE IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM AGREEMENT WITH SNOQUALMIE PASS UTILITY DISTRICT Mark Cook gave background on the project submitted by Snoqualmie Pass Utility District to the Conference of Governments (CCG) for consideration. Mark Cook continued that COG elected to not fund the project during the second round of reviewed applications. Mark Cook added that after discussion with the Board of County Commissioners and the imoortance of the project to Kittitas County the Board elected to award $250,000 from the fund reserves to the project. Discussion was held. Chairman Brett Wachsmith made a motion;to approve Resolution 2020-082 for the 2020 Distressed County Sales and Use Tax Infrastructure Improvement Program Agreement with Snoqualmie Pass Utility District. Commissioner Cory Wright seconded said motion. Motion passed 3-0. OTHER BUSINESS: Mark Cook gave background on the Coleman Creek project and stated that no procurement bids were received for the project. Mark Cook continued that he has spoken with legal and moving forward to negotiate directly with a supplier and should see the resolution supporting this action next week to keep the project on schedule. Mark Cook stated that one bid was received for the Big Boulder Bridge Replacement project. Mark Cook continued that the bidder did omit one form from the submittal, and he is working with legal on a resolution to address the issue and go forward with award. Mark Cook added that the project will be done in the fall. Mark Cook reported that staff received a good response on the bid for the Upper Kittitas County Maintenance Facility with two (2) bids being received. Mark Cook added that award for the project is scheduled for the May 5th agenda session.
