REQUEST TO APPROVE A RESOLUTION FOR THE 2020 DISTRESSED COUNTY SALES <br />AND USE TAX INFRASTRUCTURE IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM AGREEMENT WITH <br />SNOQUALMIE PASS UTILITY DISTRICT <br />Mark Cook gave background on the project submitted by Snoqualmie Pass <br />Utility District to the Conference of Governments (CCG) for <br />consideration. Mark Cook continued that COG elected to not fund the <br />project during the second round of reviewed applications. Mark Cook <br />added that after discussion with the Board of County Commissioners <br />and the imoortance of the project to Kittitas County the Board <br />elected to award $250,000 from the fund reserves to the project. <br />Discussion was held. Chairman Brett Wachsmith made a motion;to <br />approve Resolution 2020-082 for the 2020 Distressed County Sales and <br />Use Tax Infrastructure Improvement Program Agreement with Snoqualmie <br />Pass Utility District. Commissioner Cory Wright seconded said <br />motion. Motion passed 3-0. <br />OTHER BUSINESS: <br />Mark Cook gave background on the Coleman Creek project and stated <br />that no procurement bids were received for the project. Mark Cook <br />continued that he has spoken with legal and moving forward to <br />negotiate directly with a supplier and should see the resolution <br />supporting this action next week to keep the project on schedule. <br />Mark Cook stated that one bid was received for the Big Boulder Bridge <br />Replacement project. Mark Cook continued that the bidder did omit <br />one form from the submittal, and he is working with legal on a <br />resolution to address the issue and go forward with award. Mark Cook <br />added that the project will be done in the fall. <br />Mark Cook reported that staff received a good response on the bid for <br />the Upper Kittitas County Maintenance Facility with two (2) bids <br />being received.
