BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS COUNTY OF KITTITAS STATE OF WASHINGTON RESOLUTION NO. 2020 - SELECTING FEHR AND PEERS ALONG WITH SCJ ALLIANCE AS PUBLIC WORKS ON-CALL TASK ORDER CONSULTANTS FOR UP TO A THREE-YEAR PERIOD OF SERVICE AND AUTHORIZING THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR TO SIGN SAID CONTRACTS WHEREAS: The Department of Public Works (PW) prepared a solicitation for engineering and professional services consistent with state law and county code in January 2020; and WHEREAS: PW docketed a request to solicit for engineering and professional services on the Board of County Commission general business agenda on January 21, 2020; and WHEREAS: The Board of County Commissioners did direct PW proceed with solicitation efforts and said process concluded with submittals being received on February 13, 2020; and WHEREAS: Consistent with solicitation advertising an internal review team of PW reviewed and scored all transportation planning and related professional engineering services submittals; and WHEREAS: The consensus of the reviewers selects Fehr and Peers along with SCJ Alliance for professional transportation planning and related engineering services contracts for up to a three-year period (two-year base with possible third year extension if mutually agreed upon); NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the best interest of the public, does hereby select Fehr and Peers along with SCJ Alliance for standard professional services contracts (acceptable to the Prosecuting Attorney's Office); BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED the Public Works Director is directed to sign said contracts on behalf of the Board of County Commissioners.
