KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: April 7, 2020 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve a Resolution to Adopt the Proposed <br />Public Works "Work Performed for Others" Policy <br />BACKGROUND: <br />Public Works maintains a business practice of performing <br />work for others and has done so for many years. Recently, <br />Finance Manager Remeto, determined that a formal written <br />policy adopted by the Board of County Commissioners <br />does not exist or cannot be found. The County Road <br />Administration Board requires said policy adoption. Public <br />Works has prepared a formal policy for Board <br />consideration. <br />INTERACTION: <br />Public Works. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Adopt the proposed Public Works policy: "Work <br />Performed for Others". <br />HANDLING: <br />Return one original to Public Works. <br />ATTACHMENTS: Resolution. <br />LEAD STAFF: Mark R.
