Cook, Director <br />TO <br />CC: <br />MEMORANDUM <br />Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners <br />Gandie Leader, Administrative Assistant <br />Ryan Berge (Road Forman) <br />February '19,2020 <br />Yakima River Canyon Marathon <br />FROM: <br />DATE: <br />SUBJECT <br />After review of the application for the "Yakima River Canyon Marathon" Public Works <br />would like to clarify that Berry Road, Wood House Loop and the County portion of <br />Canyon Road will not be closed for the duration of the race; and that there will be <br />sufficient amounts of traffic control at all of these intersections. <br />Public Works recommends approving this event with the following: <br />1. Local advertisement in the Daily Record and physical posting two (2) weeks in <br />advance to inform the traveling public of the upcoming event in order to give <br />advanced notice to plan a difference route during the time of the event. <br />2. There will be no closures of County roads and there will be sufficient signage and <br />traffic control at all intersections. <br />Please contact Kittitas County Public Works with any additional questions you may have <br />at 509-962-7523. <br />411 N.
