List of Intended Use of Funds* <br />time, labor, materials for venue facility preperation, <br />beautification, & cleanup. <br />Equipment rental for event cohesiveness, safety, <br />and thoroughness. <br />21 Projections of Increased Tourism <br />Please provide the following estimates of how any money received will result in increases in the number of people <br />traveling for business or pleasure on a trip: <br />1. Away from their place of residence or business and staying overnight in paid accommodations; <br />2. To a place fifty miles or more away from their place of residence or business for the day or staying overnight; <br />3. or from another country or state outside of their place of residence or business. <br />You crust provide the evidence utilized in determining your projections. <br />Response 2.1: 1. Away fromtheir place of residence or business and staying overnight in paid acconmodations; <br />Projection* Lodging tax funds will be spent on promotional advertising/marketing services & <br />materials ($6,000), design and printing expenses for promotional/marketing <br />materials to include labor, paper, postage, staff time, and envelopes ($2,500), <br />Operating expenses including dirt, gravel, labor, plywood, safety fencing, nails, <br />spray paint, cones, etc., ($2,500), staff time to promote event, search for sponsors, <br />and prepare for event ($1,500), professional service to reset our bloom pavilion <br />footing to its original state ($1,000), professional service to set up our indoor RC <br />track ($1,000), Contingency ($1500) <br />We project that ChIIIAxIe will bring 3500 people into Kittitas County with <br />approximately 180 staying in overnight accommodations. <br />We hope that people will continue to come from as far away as Canada, Yorba <br />Linda California, Maple Valley, Ephrata, Tacoma, Toppenish, and Monroe. <br />In 2019 our estimated attendance exceeded 2,500 people, and we project that this <br />event will continue to grow next year (2020) <br />We conducted a survey during our 2019 event that was completed by 130 people <br />which was approArnately 1/20th of the audience and registrants. <br />We will market/promote this event in stages by working with a digital marketing <br />company in order to customize our target audience and expand our reach. We will <br />also be print, radio, print, and direct mailing promotional materials as well as <br />registrations to invite previous registered attendees. <br />We are thoughtfully considering a moonlight run the evening before our Saturday <br />car show. <br />2500 character lirrit <br />
