<br /> <br />7 <br />PAYMENT AND BILLING <br /> <br />The Contractor shall pay the County a monthly fee of [$] to operate the espresso stand <br />located inside of the Kittitas County Courthouse. The fee will cover mai ntenance and <br />operational repairs, the use of facility, and utilities. To the extent that t he Contractor is <br />responsible to the County for this or any other fee, it is understood that the County will <br />be responsible for collection of payment from the Contract or. The County will bill the <br />Contractor quarterly and the Contractor shall make payments t o: <br /> <br />Kittitas County <br />Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) <br />205 West 5th Avenue <br />Ellensburg, WA 98926 <br /> <br />OPERATING FEE INCREASES <br /> <br />The County reserves the right to increase the monthly operating fee if the actual cost to <br />the County exceeds the amount being charged or exceeds the operational maintenance <br />and repairs. The County shall provide a minimum of forty (40) days’ written notice <br />before any increase is implemented. Any damage caused by the Contractor beyond <br />normal wear and tear will be billed to the Contract or. <br />RECORDS MAINTENANCE <br /> <br />The Parties to this Agreement will maintain books, records, documents and other <br />evidence that sufficiently and properly reflect all direct an d indirect costs expended by <br />either Party in the performance of the services described her ein. These records will be <br />subject to inspection, review, or audit by personnel of the Contractor or the County, <br />other personnel duly authorized by either party, the Office of the State Auditor, or a <br />federal or State official so authorized by law. The Coun ty shall retain all books, records, <br />documents, and other material relevant to this Agreement for six (6) years after <br />expiration of this Agreement and the Office of th e State Auditor, federal auditors, and <br /> <br />any persons duly authorized by the parties will have full access and the right to examine <br />any of these materials during this period. Records that pertain to County business are <br />subject to disclosure under the Public Records Act and must be maintained in accordance <br />with the requirements of the Secretary of State.
