-3- 502686980 v1 Bond means the Kittitas County, Washington Limited Tax General Obligation Refunding Bond, 2020 issued pursuant to this resolution. Bond Fund means the “Fund #____ – 2020 GO Bond” as described in Section 9 hereof, which name of fund may be added to or changed prior to closing, as directed by the County Representative. Bond Register means the registration books maintained by the Bond Registrar showing the name, address and tax identification number of each registered owner of the Bond, maintained pursuant to Section 149(a) of the Code. Bond Registrar means U.S. Bank National Association, the current fiscal agent of the State of Washington, as designated by the Treasurer, for the purposes of registering and authenticating the Bond, maintaining the Bond Register, effecting the transfer of ownership of the Bond and paying interest on and principal of the Bond. Bond Year means each one-year period that ends on the date selected by the County. The first and last Bond Years may be short periods. If no day is selected by the County before the earlier of the final maturity date of the Bond or the date that is five years after the date of issuance of the Bond, Bond Years end on each anniversary of the date of issue and on t he final maturity date of the Bond. Call Date means June 1, 2020, with respect to the Refunded Bonds. County Administrator means the duly qualified, appointed and acting County Administrator of the County, or any other officer who succeeds to the duties n ow delegated to that office. Code means the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended, and shall include all applicable regulations and rulings relating thereto.
