EASTON SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 28 KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON RESOLUTION NO. 452 CERTIFICATION OF 2020 EXCESS PROPERTY TAXES A RESOLUTION of the Board of Directors of Easton School District No. 28, Kittitas County, Washington, certifying to the Superintendent of Educational Service District 105 and the Board of County Commissioners of Kittitas County, Washington, the amount of excess property taxes to be levied in year 2019 and collected in year 2020 for the District's General Fund and Capital Projects Fund; and providing for related matters. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF EASTON SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 28, KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON, as follows: Section J. Findings atld D etenni nations . The Board of Directors (the "Board") of Easton School District No. 28, Kittitas County, Washington (the "District") takes note of the following facts and makes the following findings and determinations: (a) By Resolution No. 450, the Board adopted a budget for Fiscal Year 2019-20 (the "2019-20 Budget") that included certified General Fund educational programs and operation excess property taxes in the amount of $269,043 to be levied in 2019 and collected in 2020. (b) The 2019-20 Budget did not certify Capital Projects Fund excess property taxes to be levied in 2019 and collected in 2020 because the District, at the time of adoption of the 2019-20 Budget, did not have an existing Capital Projects Fund excess tax levy. On November 5, 2019, voters within the District approved a four-year excess tax levy for the Capital Projects Fund, the amount of which levy to be collected in calendar year 2020 (the first year of collection) is $340,000. Section 2 . Certification of General Fund Exo e Property Tax Levy. Pursuant to RCW 84.52 .020, the Board certifies to the Superintendent of Educational Service District 105 and the Board of County Commissioners of Kittitas County, Washington, an excess property tax levy in the amount of $269,043 to be levied in calendar year 2019 and collected in calendar year 2020 for the District's General Fund. Section 3. Certification of Capital Projects Fund Excess Property Tax Levy. Pursuant to RCW 84.52.020, the Board certifies to the Superintendent of Educational Service District 105 and the Board of County Commissioners of Kittitas County, Washington, an excess property tax levy in the amount of $340,000 to be levied in calendar year 2019 and collected in calendar year 2020 for the District's Capital Projects Fund. Section 4. General Authorization and Ratification. The Secretary to the Board, the Chair of the Board, the District's Business Manager, and other appropriate officers of the District are severally authorized to take all other actions and execute all other documents necessary to FG :53550296.'J
