Exhibit C WORK PLAN FY 2019 Emergency Ma nagem ent Performance Grant Emergency Management 0111anlzation Kittitas County Sheriff's Office The purpose of EMPG Is to assist with the enhancement, sustainment and Improvement of state, local, and trlbal emergency management programs. Activities conducted using EMPG funding should relate directly to the five elements of emergency management: prevention, protection, response, recovery, end mitigation. Washington State does not require a specific number of activities to receive EMPG funding. However, there are required capabllltles that must be sustained In order to remain ellglble for EMPG funding, lndudlng but not llmlted to the ablllty to communicate and warn, educate the publlc, train and exercise, plan, and be NIMS compllant.
