BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br />NO. 2019-_______ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION TO AWARD BID FOR PURCHASE OF A WATER TRUCK FOR THE <br />KITTITAS VALLEY EVENT CENTER <br /> <br />WHEREAS, A Notice of Call for Bids for Bid Number: KVEC2019-01 was advertised to furnish one <br />water truck; and <br />WHEREAS, sealed bids were opened on November 27, 2019 at 10:00am in the Armory at the Kittitas <br />Valley Event Center. Two (2) bids were received; and <br />WHEREAS, the Director of the Event Center recommends that the responsible bid from L&M Truck <br />Sales, Inc. of Spokane, Washington in the total amount, including tax, of $76,622.25 be <br />accepted as the lowest responsible bidder to meet specifications; and <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners of Kittitas County, <br />Washington, in the best interest of the public, does hereby award the bid for a water truck <br />to L&M Truck Sales, Inc., in the total amount, including tax, of $76,622.25, with said <br />award conditioned upon the terms and conditions as specified in the Bid Packet submitted <br />by said bidder. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Event Center Director be authorized to sign the contract <br />documents for the bid awarded hereunder pursuant to the terms and conditions as specified <br />in the Bid Packet submitted by said bidder. <br /> <br />DATED this __________ day of ____________________, 2019, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br /> <br /> BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br /> <br /> __________________________________________ <br /> Chair <br /> <br /> __________________________________________ <br /> Vice-Chair <br /> <br /> __________________________________________ <br /> Commissioner <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />_____________________________ <br />☐ Clerk of the Board <br />☐ Deputy Clerk of the Board <br />
