2019 Docket Enabling Ordinance December 3, 2019 <br />Page 8 <br /> <br />17.29.050, 17.31.060, and 17.56.060 are amended to remove reference to “corner lots” to clarify contradictory <br />language between definitions and individual zoning setback requirements throughout Title 17. <br /> <br />The Board of County Commissioners held a public hearing on November 12, 2019 and approved the <br />request as presented based on the Planning Commission recommendation by a 2-1 vote, <br />Commissioner Wright against, finding that: <br /> <br />I. The Planning Commission recommended approval with amendments to the Board of County <br />Commissioners with a vote of 4-0. <br />II. No public testimony for this proposal was received. <br />III. The change meets the Growth Management Act and the objectives of the Comprehensive <br />Plan. <br /> <br />19-05 Kittitas County Proposal: <br />Amend KCC 17.16 Residential and KCC 17.18 Residential 2 regarding setbacks limited to the <br />Snoqualmie LAMIRD, Exhibit E. <br /> <br />The amendments to KCC 17.16 and KCC 17.18 change the front setback requirement from 15 feet to 25 feet <br />to allow for additionally snow storage within the Snoqualmie LAMIRD. The rear setback requirements in <br />these two sections change from 25 feet to 15 feet to allow for the same potential building space prior to the <br />setback changes. These changes only apply to those properties located within the Snoqualmie LAMIRD zoned <br />either Residential of Residential 2. <br /> <br />The Board of County Commissioners held a public hearing on November 12, 2019 and approved the <br />request as presented by a 3-0 vote, finding that: <br /> <br />I. The Planning Commission recommended approval to the Board of County Commissioners <br />with a vote of 4-0. <br />II. No public testimony for this proposal was received. <br />III. The change meets the Growth Management Act and the objectives of the Comprehensive <br />Plan. <br /> <br />19-06 Kittitas County: <br />Amend KCC 17.15.080 regarding swine, Exhibit F. <br /> <br />This amendment to KCC 17.15.080 footnotes associated with the Urban Use Table to allow the raising <br />of swine specific to youth educational projects as long fencing and housing adequate to fully contain <br />the swine is provided. This item was remanded back to staff from the 2018 annual docket cycle for <br />the 2019 cycle. <br /> <br />The Board of County Commissioners held a public hearing on November 12, 2019 and approved the <br />request as presented by a 3-0 vote, finding that: <br /> <br />I. The Planning Commission recommended approval of the proposal to the Board of County <br />Commissioners with a vote of 4-0. <br />II. No public testimony for this proposal was received. <br />III. The change meets the Growth Management Act and the objectives of the Comprehensive <br />Plan. <br /> <br />19-07 Kittitas County Proposal <br />Amend Title 18 to identify additional authorized officials, Exhibit G.
