KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />AGENDA DATE: <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />December 3, 2019 <br />Approve a Resolution to Award the bid to <br />furnish Snow & Ice Control Products for 2020. <br />BACKGROUND: Kittitas County Public Works went out to bid for <br />the furnishing of specific snow & ice products <br />in accordance with specifications. <br />Bids were opened on October 31, 2019 at 2:00 <br />p.m. in the Public Works Department and two <br />(2) bids were received. Public Works <br />recommends awarding the bid from Rankin <br />Products, LLC for Item #4. <br />There were no bids received for Items 1-3 or <br />Item 5. However, after contacting the current <br />provider for Item 5, Roadwise, Inc., they have <br />agreed to supply the product based on last <br />year's bid award under Resolution 2018-178. <br />INTERACTION: Public Works <br />RECOMMENDATION: Move to approve a Resolution to Award the bid <br />to furnish Snow & Ice Control Products for <br />2020. <br />HANDLING: Return one (1) original to Public Works <br />ATTACHMENTS: Resolution; Bid Tab <br />LEAD STAFF: Mark R.
