BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />ORDINANCE No. 2019- <br />ESTA13LISHING PARKING FINES FOR ALL ROADS CONTAINED WITHIN THE HYAK RID <br />NO. 96-1 AND AMENDING KCC 10.06.050 AND 10.07.060 <br />WHEREAS: Kittitas County Code 10.07.010 designates all roads contained in the Hyak RID No. 96-1 as <br />no parking; and <br />WHEREAS: Recurrent prohibited winter parking exacerbates Public Works snow removal efforts; and <br />WHEREAS: Hyak residents and Snoqualmie Public Utility managers are requesting enforcement support <br />of the no parking restrictions in the Hyak Community; and <br />WHEREAS: Public Works is requesting the implementation of no parking fines in Hyak as a means of <br />supporting regulation of the no -parking zones; and <br />WHEREAS: The Board of Kittitas County Commissioners did hold a public hearing on December 3, <br />2019 gathering public testimony on the proposed no parking fines for all roads contained in <br />Hyak RID No. 96-1; <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED That the Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners, after <br />due deliberation and in the best interest of the public, does hereby amend KCC 10.06.050 and 10.07.060 <br />establishing no parking fines for all road contained within Hyak RID No. 96-1. <br />BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED That this ordinance will become effective upon the installation of the <br />appropriate no parking signs. <br />ADOPTED this 3rd day of December, 2019. <br />Attest: <br />❑ Clerk of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />❑ Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />Cory Wright, Chairman <br />Brett Wachsmith, Vice -Chairman <br />Laura Osiadacz, Commissioner <br />
