CONSULTANT, the indemnification obligations set forth above shall not be limited in any way by any !Imitation on the amount or type of damages or compensation benefits payable by or for CONSUL TANT under the applicable workefs or workmen's compensation, benefit, or disability laws (including but not limited to, the Industrial Insurance laws, Title 51 of the Revised Code of Washington). CONSUL TANT expressly waives anyimmunity 'CONSULTANT-might have under such laws, and, by entering into this Agreement, acknowledges that this waiver has been mutually negotiated. 15. INSURANCE. 15.1. The CONSUL TANT shall procure and maintain for the duration of the Agreement, insurance against claims for injuries to peraons or damage to property which may arise· from or in connection with the performance of the-work hereunder by the CONSULTANT, Its agents, representatives, employees or subcontractors·. 15.2. CONSULTANT'S maintenance of insurance as required by the Agreement shall not be' construed . to limlt the liability of the CONSULT ANT to the coverage provided bY. such fns4rance, or otherwise Omit the CITY)S recourse to any remedy available at'law or In equity. 15.3: Minimum Scope of Insurance. CONSULTANT shall obtain insurance of the types described below: · 15.3.1. Automobile Liability insurance covering all owned, non-owned, hired and leased vehicles. Coverage shall be written on Insurance Services Office (ISO) form CA 00 01 or a substitute fonn providing equivalent liability cove~ge. If necessary, the poli~y shall be endorsed to provide contract liability coverage; and, 1:5.3.2. Commercial General Liability insurance shall be written on ISO occurrence·;form CG 00 01 and shall cover liability arising from premises; operations, Independent contractora, and personal injury -and advertising injury. The CITY shall be named as an additional insured under the Consultant's Commercial General Llabllity Insurance policy with respect to the work performed for the CITY; and, 15.3.3. Workers' Compensation coverage as required by the Industrial Insurance laws of the State of Washington; and 15.3.4. Professional Liability Insurance appropriate to the CONSULTANT's profession. 15A: Minimum Amounts of Insurance. CONSUL TANT shall maintain the following insurance limits: 15.4.1. Automobile Liability insurance with a minimum combine'd single limit for bodily injury a~d property damage of $1,000,000 per accident.
