Required reporting by ADOs on performance measures llsted below represent two broad areas of work <br />mandated by statute RCW 43.330.080 <br />• Direct assistance, Including business planning, lo companies throughout the county who need support to <br />stay in business, expand, or relocate to Washington from out of state or other countries. Assistance must <br />comply with business recruitment and retenUon protocols established In RCW 43 ,330.062. <br />• Support for regional economic research and regional planning efforts to Implement target industry sector <br />strategies and other economic development strategies, including cluster-based strategies. Research and <br />planning efforts should support Increased living standards end Increased foreign direct investment. and <br />be aligned with the statewide economic development strategy. Regional associate deve lopment <br />organizations retain their Independence to address local concerns and goals. <br />2. 0e11yerab1as; <br />A. The GRANTEE will describe to COMMERCE their business plan as outllned in Table A. <br />B. The GRANTEE and COMMERCE have negotiated the required GRANT performance meaeures that will be <br />used by the GRANTEE and COMMERCE lo annually assess GRANTEE performance. These perfonnence <br />measure targets are Identified In Column (A) in Table B below. These performance measures are specific <br />deliverables under this GRANT. <br />C. The GRANTEE shall collect data and using the web-based information system provided by COMMERCE, <br />provide quarterty reports on all required data In Table B below Performance Measures and Table C <br />Outcomes below. These reports are a GRANT deliverable. <br />D. Only those activities Identified in Table B •performance Measure Targets• in "Column A· will be used by the <br />GRANTEE and COMMERCE to assess achievement ot ·Perfannanoe Measure Targets•. <br />E.
