Amendment No. 1 t~ Interlocal Amendment for Professional Sel'l'icea <br />Be~een the Ellensburg Busine.et Development Authority <br />And tbe City ofEllentbu.rg for Proviaio~ of Adminbtrativ.e and Project Services <br />This Amendment No. 1 to the existing November 7, 20 l 7 Interlocal Agreement <br />(Intetlocal) between the Ellensburg Buaines.s Developm:ent Authority (EBDA) and the City of <br />Ellensburg (Ci1') for Provision of Adminis1rativc and Projeot Services, 1s made and effective this <br />IR:!': day of .N\OJ'~ . 2019. <br />WHEREAS; the EDDA is a public development authority created by the City of Ellensburg <br />under Title 35.2 1 RCW and Ellensburg Ordinance No. 3895, as am.ended, and operates under its <br />adopted Charter and Bylaws; and <br />WHEREAS. the EBDA' s _primary pwpose is dedi~ed to promoting economic developme,,t <br />projects within the territorial limits pf the City .and outside the tetritoriaJ limits of the City to the <br />exte nt authorized by RCW 3S ,21 74Q; and <br />WHEREAS, having the City prov ide administrative and projeC:t services to. the EBDA is the <br />most econornicaJ and logistically efficient means of piocuring these services; and <br />WHEREAS, the EBDA wishes to continue engaging the City for administrative and project <br />services on the tenns and conditions set forth below; <br />NOW , THEREFORE. in consideration of the above recitals and the mutual promises and <br />benefits contained herein, the parties agree as follows: <br />A. New Section added to (nterlocal: <br />A new "Section 4" is ad~ed to the Interlocal which shall read as follows: <br />SECTION 4: FUNDING FOR SER.VICES <br />a. Fo r Fiscal Year 2019. the BBDA shall pay to the City. the total sum of $40,000 <br />in quarterly installments due March 31, June 30, S~tembeJ" 30, and December <br />31 for person,nel sen-ices. <br />b. ForFisoal 'Year 2019 , the City ijhall pa;y to the BBDA the total sum of$40,000 <br />by April 30 for advancement of economic de:velopment. <br />c. For Fiscal Year 2019, the EBDA shall pay to the City the total sum of $1 by <br />Des:embm' 31, 2019 for lease of the Ellensbutg Incubator located at 1200 N <br />Prospect, Ellensburg, WA. <br />B.
