Attachment A — Scope of Work <br />A. Required reporting by ADOs on performance measures listed below represent two broad areas of work <br />mandated by statute RCW 43.330.Qt3U <br />• Direct assistance, including business planning, to companies throughout the county who need support to <br />stay in business, expand, or relocate to Washington from out of stare or other countries. Assistance must <br />comply with business recruitment and retention protioc:ois established in RCW 43.330.052. <br />Support for regional economic research and regional planning efforts to implement target Industry sector <br />strategies and other economic development strategies, including cluster -based strategies. Research and <br />planning efforts should support increased living standards and Increased foreign direct investment, and <br />be aligned with the statewide economic development strategy. Regional associate development <br />organizations retain their independence to address local concerns and goals. <br />2. Deliverables: <br />A. The GRANTEE will describe to COMMERCE their business pian as outlined in Table A. <br />B. The GRANTEE and COMMERCE have negotiated the required GRANT performance measures that will be <br />used by the GRANTEE and COMMERCE to annually assess GRANTEE performance. These performance <br />measure targets are identified in Column (A) in Table B below. These performance measures are specific <br />deliverables under this GRANT. <br />Q The GRANTEE shall collect data and using the web -based information system provided by COMMERCE, <br />provide quarterly reports on all required data in Table B below Performance Measures and Table C <br />Outcomes below. These reports are a GRANT deliverable. <br />D. Only those activities identlfled in Table B "Perlbrmance Measure Targets" in "Column K will be used by the <br />GRANTEE and COMMERCE to assess achievement of `Perfornance Measure Tergal. <br />E. Summary of Best Practices Sheered and Implemented by the contracting organizations.
