ITT i T-%` C L7l N l V <br />MEMORANDUM <br />TO: Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners <br />FROM: Candie Leader, Administrative Assistant !? <br />DATE: September 17, 2019 <br />SUBJECT: Huffman Farms Special Event Application <br />After review of the special event application submitted by Hilary Huffman to host the Huffman Farms U - <br />Pick Pumpkin Patch beginning September 28, 2019 through the end of October, 2019, staff has found <br />that the applicant has identified that this event will not obstruct, interfere, or require the closure and <br />free use of public roads and rights of way. <br />The application indicates that all event parking and traffic impacts can be maintained on private <br />property. The event location is accessed from Wilson Creek Road, which is a County road. The applicant <br />would be required to ensure that not unmitigated adverse impacts to the traveling public along Wilson <br />Creek Road will occur from this proposal. Kittitas County Public Works recommends obtaining approval <br />from the fire district for use of the bridge. <br />Kittitas County Public Works requires that the applicant post "Event Ahead" signs along Wilson Creek <br />Road. <br />Kittitas County Public Works recommends approval of this event based on this information and proposed <br />condition.
