WHEREAS: the 2019 Fire Prevention Week theme, "Not Every Hero Wears a Cape. Plan and <br />Practice Your Escape!" effectively serves to educate the public about the vital importance of <br />developing a home fire escape plan with all members of the household and practicing it twice a <br />year; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: that the Kittitas County Board of Commissioners <br />do hereby proclaim October 6-12, 2019, as Fire Prevention Week throughout this community <br />and urge all the people of Kittitas County to develop a home fire escape plan with all members of <br />the household and practice it twice a year, and to participate in the public safety activities and <br />efforts of Kittitas County fire and emergency services during Fire Prevention Week 2019. <br />Dated this 17 th day of September, 2019. <br />Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board <br />THE KITTITAS COUNTY <br />BOARD O F COMMISSIONERS
