The Kittitas School District has two schools on two <br />campuses serving approximately 650 students with 85 employees. The District has a K-5 elementary school <br />and a 6-12 secondary school. The Kittitas School District is operated with local, state, and federal funds, <br />administered by a board of directors and superintendent. The Board will assume the responsibility for <br />adoption and implementation of this plan. The following is a summary of key information about the <br />jurisdiction: <br />– Population Served—Per the 2010 Census, the Kittitas School District has a population of <br />3,673 with 1,530 households. <br />– Land Area Served—603 square miles <br />– Value of Area Served—The estimated value of the area served by the jurisdiction is <br />$76,261,530. <br />– Land Area Owned—68 acres. <br />– List of Critical Infrastructure/Equipment Owned by the Jurisdiction: <br />– 10 School Buses $590,000 <br />– 5 Pickups/Cars/Vans $66,000 <br />– Equipment $2,327,046 <br />– Total Value of Critical Infrastructure/Equipment—The total value of critical infrastructure <br />and equipment owned by the jurisdiction is $2,983,046. <br />– List of Critical Facilities Owned by the Jurisdiction: <br />– Primary Elementary $1,888,801 <br />– Intermediate Elementary $4,300,941 <br />– Portable Classroom $99,232 <br />– Bus Shop $142,580 <br />– Old High School $2,386,173 <br />– Old High School Gym $1,155,000 <br />– Old High School Annex $471,911
