City of Ellensburg Website Press Release <br />Internet <br />The Kittitas County Public Works, Hazard Mitigation Plan website was updated to keep the public posted <br />on plan development milestones, give the public access to the plan, and allow the public to provide <br />comments on the draft 2019 plan. The page can be easily accessed in the left panel of the Kittitas County <br />Public Works Home page, or at the following link: <br /> https://www.co.kittitas.wa.us/public-works/hazard-mitigation-plan/default.aspx <br />Information on the plan development process, the public survey, and the draft plan was made available to <br />the public on the site throughout the process, as seen in Figure 2-8 below. This website acted as the primary <br />means for the public to provide comment on the draft plan. A public comment period was opened on <br />December 19, 2018 and ran through January 14, 2019. A press release was distributed by Kittitas County <br />and the City of Ellensburg advising them of the public comment period and how to view the plan and <br />provide comments via the website. The County will continue to keep this website active after the plan <br />update’s completion to keep the public informed about successful mitigation projects and future plan <br />updates.
