RISK RATING AND RANKING <br />The risk rating for each hazard was determined by multiplying the probability factor by the sum of the <br />weighted impact factors for people, property and operations, as summarized in Table 16-5. <br />Based on these ratings, a priority of high, medium or low was assigned to each hazard. The hazards ranked <br />as being of highest concern are earthquake and severe weather. Hazards ranked as being of medium concern <br />are landslide, flood and wildfire. The hazards ranked as being of lowest concern are drought and dam <br />failure. Table 16-6 shows the hazard risk ranking. <br /> <br />Table 16-5.
