1 <br />Chelsea Benner <br />From:Tom Miller <tmillerwa@live.com> <br />Sent:Sunday, July 14, 2019 9:58 AM <br />To:Chelsea Benner <br />Subject:Project LP-19-00002 <br />Follow Up Flag:Follow up <br />Flag Status:Flagged <br />Below are my comments related to this proposed Suncadia project.  <br />  <br />As a long time resident of Suncadia and Kittitas County, I am well aware of the building restrictions and limits on growth  <br />caused by the lack of water. Suncadia has not been a good steward of water resources and the current usage levels are  <br />well above what is acceptable (or supportable) for a full build out of their existing developable lots. Adding 105  <br />residential lot plats is less of a concern than creating an artificial lake with the limited water resources that we have. The  <br />Suncadia Water Company can supply you with current water usage information should you want to consider that. You  <br />will need to review both potable and non‐potable usage information as those are treated as separate resources.  <br />  <br />The County Commissioners should look very carefully at the water loss of an open lake and weigh that against the  <br />current levels of water usage by the Suncadia community. Water is a precious resource in the Western United States and  <br />no more so than in Kittitas County.  <br />  <br />Regards,  <br />  <br />Tom Miller  <br />111 Ocean Spray Ct.  <br />Cle Elum, WA  98922  <br />  <br />Sent from Mail for Windows 10  <br />  <br />Index #28
