Kittitas County encourages disadvantaged, minority and women owned consultant firms to respond. The County reserves the right to reject any and all submittals. SELECTION PROCESS AND PROPOSED SCHEDULE: Kittitas County selection will be based on the following review of submitted materials: 1. The firm's or team's qualifications, experience and ability to perform the work (20 points); 2. Demonstrated experience with similar projects in Kittitas County within the past ten years (30 points); 3. Demonstrated experience integrating CONSULTANT efforts with agency staff producing model hydraulics (30 points); 4. Demonstrated ability to keep projects on time and within budget specifically delivering approximate and detailed two-dimensional flow models to FEMA contractor model reviewers (20 points); 5. Demonstrated ability to communicate and work effectively with the public, other consultants, staff, policy and review bodies and regulatory agencies (20 points). Responders are encouraged to pay attention to the point allocation listed above as this forms the basis for responder selection. Anticipated Dates Tasks August 22, 2019 Deadline for SOQ submittals August 29, 2019 Selection of Firms to Interview if desired September 12, 2019 Interviews and Reference Checks (if desired September 12, 2019 Selection of firms and prepare contracts September 23, 2019 BOCC Award of Contracts The selection process shall be, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. §§ 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises and airport concession disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award. The above noted schedule is tentative and may be changed based on the number of proposals submitted. AGREEMENT OF SERVICES: The selected consultant(s) will be expected to enter into a standard Kittitas County Professional Services Agreement. Insurance requirements are included in that agreement.
