Response 3 B:
Measuring Results*
Response 3 C :
Measuring Results *
B. 11\hat strategies will you enploy to assure you are attracting tourists frcrn at least 50 mies away?
As our marketing campaign is based in digital marketing, we will be able to use
advertising tools on social media platforms that target advertisements to specific
locations that are at least 50 miles a\/v'ay from the Thorp Mill.
For example, within Facebook we can change the marketing radius to include more
populated areas such as Seattle, Spokane, Issaquah, North Bend, Wenatchee, and
the Tri-cities.
2500 character lirrit
C. Wlat strategies will you use to assist in rrarketing all of Kittitas Ox.inly as a tourist destination w ·1tt1 your
evenVproject funding request?
While Thorp Mill is a valued heritage resource within our community, it is not a
stand-alone destination. The presence of other museums and businesses
(particularly services) are integral to the Thorp Mill's success as a cultural
institution. Currently, we promote these organizations through our sizeable
brochure display and direct recommendations.
If we receive this funding, we will promote the events and pages of other institutions
within our community, particularly those we collaborate with. We will include on the
Thorp Mill's website-and in featured posts on the Thorp Mill Facebook page-
information about nearby attractions, such as the Thorp Fruit Stand, as well as key
services for visitors, such as restaurants and hotels v.ithin Ellensburg . We will also
continue to use Facebook to co-promote events hosted by other cultural
institutions, such as museums and galleries.
2500 character lirrit
Application Questions: Part 3
41 Collaboration
If your organization collaborates or has created partnerships with other organizations, groups, or other
events, how is this accomplished?
,..,, , __ ,,,
