Future Plans* Cruisin' for Hospice continues to grow and, as this happens expenses will increase . The event has operated with surplus over the past few years, which is used to support Hospice Friends programming. As we 111,ork toward our goal of making "Cruisin' for Hospice" an expanded tourist event, expenses will continue to grow. We must remain ever vigilant in securing additional revenue streams, such as support from lodging tax funds, to ensure we continue operating with a surplus. We have exceeded our functional limit with the previous space provided by the city . In order to create a truly remarkable and exciting event to sustain the coming years, we have to expand. In addition, Ellensburg saw three new car shows this year which have a dramatic effect on available sponsorship dollars from local businesses. We need to reach further and bring in more people to remain the paramount car show in Kittitas County. As our cause truly has an impact on the community through our services we provide.
