Washington State Horse Park <br />Covered Arena and Associated Buildout Project <br />Statement of Work 7-20-18 <br />This proposal is for constructinga covered riding arena on the city-owned property of theWashingtonStateHorsePark,Cle Elum,WA.The structure size is 200 by 350 feet overall with afreespanridingsurfaceof150by300feet. <br />The Project consist of: <br />Site and Structure Design -completed by Dawson Associates in May 2016 (submittal copies <br />included,Exhibits l-lll) <br />Engineering -this entirely steel structure was been engineered by Faber Construction in <br />June 2016 (submittal documents of engineered structure included,Exhibit IV and V.) <br />Permit Reviews -the overall project scope of the Washington State Horse Park (which <br />includes the proposed covered arena)has been completed and permitted,and is subject tothe"Agreement Relating to the Development of the WA State Horse Park within The CityofCleElum"August,2013.All master development permits relating to the complete buildoutoftheentireMasterPlanforthehorseparkwerecompletedandapprovedpriortothisbindingagreementforfutureconstructionphases.The agreement is a 20 year term. <br />Remaining permits are limited in scope to include the submittal for the covered building <br />design to the City of Cle Elum for applicable building code review and construction <br />permitting.All records are on file with the city of Cle Elum or the Washington State Horse <br />Park and are available for review on request if needed. <br />Scope of Work to include: <br />•Clearing,grading and excavation for the structure; <br />•Foundation construction; <br />•Steel building erection; <br />•Equestrian footing drainage and placement; <br />•Arena fencing installation; <br />•Final grading and site restoration; <br />•Completion and Final approval by the City of Cle Elum Building Department. <br />Total Project Funding Request:$1,500,000 <br />This funding request will be applied to Phase 1 of this project,which is the arena <br />construction itself as defined on the attached Exhibit VI.Applicant shall submit monthly <br />progress reports with related costs,and request disbursement of funds accordingly in <br />increments as we fulfill the contract scope.
