BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />ORDINANCE No. ;/;)/;/-f / 7- <br />ADOPTION OF THE KITTITAS COUNTY CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM FOR <br />THE PLANNING PERIOD 2015-2020 <br />WHEREAS: Kittitas County opted into the Growth Management Act, RCW 36 .70A, voluntarily on <br />December 27, 1990, through Resolution 90-138; and <br />WHEREAS: Kittitas County adopted the Kittitas County Comprehensive Plan in August of 1996 and the <br />Capital Facilities Plan was adopted as part of the Comprehensive Plan; and <br />WHEREAS: Kittitas County amended the Comprehensive Plan in 2001 to adopt the six year Capital <br />Facilities Program through a process separate from the annual comprehensive plan <br />amendment process and any changes made are adopted by reference to the Kittitas County <br />Comprehensive Plan at adoption; and <br />WHEREAS: The Kittitas County Commissioners conducted a public hearing on December 2, 2014 to <br />consider the six year Capital Improvement Program for the planning period 2015-2020, <br />formerly referred to as the Capital Facilities Program; and <br />WHEREAS: The Kittitas County Commissioners continued the public hearing to December 16, 2014 to <br />consider edits requested in the six year Capital Improvement Program for the planning <br />period 2015-2020; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED That the Board of County Commissioners after due deliberation and <br />in the best interest of the public, does hereby approve the six year Capital Improvement Program for the <br />planning period 2015-2020 as attached hereto. <br />ADOPTED this /~ day of Ottbnvber.'2014, at Ellensburg, Washington . <br />Approved as to Form: <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />K!Jf1~s.p.QU_INTY, WASHINGTON <br />Pau ell , Chairman <br />&._u--
