CITY OF CLE ELUM <br />WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO.2017-003 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CLE ELUM, <br />WASHINGTON,AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SIGN <br />THE AGREEMENTBETWEEN THE CITY OF CLE ELUM <br />AND THE WASHINGTON STATE TRANSPORTATION <br />IMPROVEMENTBOARD RELATED TO THE COMPLETE <br />STREETS GRANT. <br />WHEREAS,the Transportation Improvement Board has developed a grant <br />program,Complete Streets,to provide for the retrofit of streets and roads ("Project") <br />for eligible cities,towns,and counties to provide access to all users,including <br />bicyclists,pedestrians,motorists,and public transportation riders;and <br />WHEREAS,the City of Cle Elum is eligible to receive a Project grant <br />pursuant to Ordinance 1455 and to perform the Project pursuant to the terms of the <br />grant;and <br />WHEREAS,the City now desires to authorize the Mayor to sign an agreement <br />to obtain such grant funding. <br />NOW,THEREFORE,THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CLE ELUM, <br />WASHINGTON,DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1.Authorization.The Mayor is hereby authorized to sign the Transportation <br />Improvement Board grant agreement between the City of Cle Elum and the Transportation <br />Improvement Board as attached hereto as Exhibit A. <br />PASSED BY THE CLE EL M CITY COUNCIL AT A REGULAR MEETING <br />THEREOF ON THE /R DAY OF,y,,2017. <br />CITY OF LE EL <br />Ja wan,Mayor <br />AT 'EST/AUTHENTICATED: <br />Kathi Swanson City Clerk <br />Approved as to form: <br />-l -
