Dolarway Road, Suite 219 <br />Ellensburg, WA 98926 <br />Manastash Metric Century / Half Century Bike Ride <br />Dear Carol Findley, <br />Thank you for your recent inquiry regarding your proposed Manastash Metric Century <br />and Half Century Bike Ride from Ellensburg to Cle Elum and back. This Event route <br />utilizes numerous county and city roads along with a portion of State Route 97 (MP <br />136.85 — MP 137.10), to stage. Please see Exhibit J when referencing the route <br />description. This Event is scheduled for October 5TH 2019 from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm. <br />Participants should be reminded before the Event that they are to follow the "Rules of the <br />Road" as outlined in state law RCW 46.61, (see enclosed Exhibit D). In addition, you are <br />reminded that support vehicles are to be kept separate from the bicycles and may not <br />travel on the roadway shoulders. <br />A Letter of Acknowledgement will permit this Event since minimal traffic impacts to the <br />traveling public are expected. Special traffic control efforts will not be anticipated with <br />this event. <br />If you need to make any marks on the roadway (Dan Henry's) please see enclosed <br />Exhibit G for information on the chalk -based paint that we allow. <br />If you have not already done so, I suggest that you provide an event itinerary to all local <br />authorities having jurisdiction where the Event traverses county roads or city streets. For <br />these areas, the local authorities determine if special traffic control and permits will be <br />required. <br />
