Mandy presented the request, I provided some additional details and responded to a few questions/general information. Judy Pless mentioned that formalizing the Admissions Tax waiver (directions in her email embedded below) should avoid confusion in future years so if you could proceed with taking care of that soon that would be great. Let me know if there is anything I need to do to help in this regard. I met with Sara Folk - the Construction Manager with the Public Works Department ---- her contact information if there are any questions is: sara.folk@co.kittitas.wa.us We discussed the need to put out some notifications in the newspaper two weeks ahead of time ---- I mentioned that last year one way of doing this was to get a couple of articles about the events into the newspaper and these articles had a description of the course (especially the cycling parts) to inform readers of the route and potential impact (though minor) on traffic. I mentioned the County Sheriff presences at several locations, the City Police at the entrance road in to the Park, and that cones/other signage indicating that the event is taking place will be placed out on the course early the morning of the event. Mandy mentioned she would be sending out a notification describing the input from the county groups shortly.
