RRCA reports that it is the oldest and largest national association of running organizations dedicated to growing the sport of running. The <br />organization uses the term running to encompass the broad spectrum of running in the US, which includes competitive running, jogging, fitness <br />walking, race walking, and wheelchair fitness/racing on roads, trails, and tracks. RRCA reports that its programs promote and support running <br />and runners at all stages in life, are designed to engage everyone with a passion or interest in running, and that most programs are designed to <br />be turnkey programs that can be implemented locally on behalf of the RRCA.
