✓Z Programs which increase access to affordable home ownership. <br />Linking housing vouchers with case management and providing employment skills and training <br />services will launch a Pathways to Permanence project for the Housing Authority with support <br />from HopeSource, Elmview and Habitat for Humanity. Homeless households would enter the <br />HopeSource shelter and, if successful in stabilizing themselves and securing a job, would <br />transition to a Housing Authority unit. Case managers would continue working with the <br />household once transitioned to prepare them to be a successful applicant for home ownership <br />with Habitat for Humanity or other conventional sources. The employment component offered <br />through partnering with Elmview squarely places the families served on a path which can lead <br />to building the skills and equity needed to move toward homeownership. <br />
