KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: February 5, 2019 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Advertise for the solicitation of <br />Statement of Qualifications for Upper County Task <br />Force I-90 Traffic Modeling. <br />BACKGROUND: The Upper County Task Force has expressed the <br />need for traffic modeling on I-90 and adjacent local <br />roadways. Public Works has produced a Statement <br />of Qualifications that seeks to hire a consultant for <br />such planning services. The consultant will have <br />experience in small and large scale traffic modeling <br />and public outreach. The effort will also include an <br />analysis of mitigation scenarios using various <br />traffic simulation tools. <br />INTERACTION: <br />Public Works <br />RECOMMENDATION: Approve the Notice of Advertisement for a <br />Statement of Qualifications for Upper County Task <br />Force I-90 Modeling <br />HANDLING: Return one (1) original to Public Works <br />ATTACHMENTS: Statement of Qualifications <br />LEAD STAFF: Mark Cook, Director <br />
